The goals of this activity is to improve your multiplication speed on the medium numbers and become comfortable with multiplying larger numbers. Try to complete the multiplication table in the simulation. Easy peezy? Try using the clock. Record your times. Do you get faster each time you practice? Easy peezy, lemon squeezy? Choose your level if you dare!.

Reflection

When you have filled in all the squares, check out the diagonal   line of numbers that runs from the × to the lower right corner of grid. Do you notice any patterns? Hopefully you noticed that the same numbers occur on each side of the diagonal. Think about why this happens and talk to your mates about it.
