This play was first performed at Tamale Secondary School in 1976 by their Creative Writers Club, with the author playing Loku. In 1988 (12 years later) the drama Club of Bagabaga Training College, staged it to win the Inter-schools and Colleges Drama Competition organized by the Arts Council of Ghana at the Tamale Performance Hall (Yemgari-naa Yilli)
